Media Powerhouse has built a sound reputation on the basis of its core business - imaginative and competent television and video production.

Corporate video:: Television is a powerful communication tool. Most forward-looking corporations and organisations use video – either on video cassette, video CD or via their website – to communicate with both external (community) and internal (staff and associates) audiences. We have an extensive production history in all forms of corporate video: news, community information, training, corporate documentary and promotional video.

Television production:: We have an ongoing commitment to the production of broadcast programs, for major clients or on our own account.

Media Powerhouse is currently completing a series of 10 13-minute Science and Technology programs under contract to WestOne Television.

Its latest major production was a 52-minute documentary on a five-week commemorative expedition through the deserts of Western Australia – The Calvert Centenary Expedition – which has been broadcast throughout Europe and is distributed on video cassette to an international market.

Documentary and music:: Graeme Hunt has been producing, writing and directing television documentaries for Australian and overseas broadcast since the 1970s. Subjects include the recovery of the 17th Century wreck of the Batavia off the West Australian coast, the hunt for the last whale to be legally captured off Australia’s southern coast, the work of the Royal Flying Doctor Service, the diverse celebrations and events throughout the United Kingdom that marked the Silver Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II, an international hot air balloon festival in Mildura, Victoria, the story of Fremantle, as seen through the eyes of long-term residents and present-day personalities, an in-depth look at Exmouth and its history, including stunning underwater shots of the area’s whale sharks, and two documentaries on Australia’s America’s Cup challenges.

Currently in production is a documentary on the adventures of a self-professed cowboy band, The Magnificent Seven, on their fourth visit to the Gympie Muster, a country and western music festival held annually in Queensland.

Media training:: Graeme’s background as a journalist and television interviewer/reporter provide him with finely-tuned interviewing skills that are employed by PR consultants to equip their clients with the experience and knowledge to deal with requests for media interviews with confidence in their ability to perform well under pressure.
